🚀 BLAST OFF! 🚀

We were thrilled to welcome students for our very first day of BLAST programming!

Designed for students in third and fourth grades, BLAST is an exciting four-hour program filled with hands-on STEM experiences.

Today, fourth graders from Woodglen Elementary School explored speed and motion, experimented with circuitry, and worked with robots! It was a fantastic day of discovery, exploration, and learning!

Having teachers take on the role of students is one of our favorite things at the Center! 🚀

During today’s workshop, teachers learned all about Mars, participated in hands-on lessons from our curriculum, and took on the Expedition Mars mission. Along the way, they experienced firsthand how teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills are an important part of the student experience at the Center. Best of all they had fun too.🔴

This engaging teacher workshop is included as part of the field trip experience!

Members of Phi Theta Kappa honor society at Bergen Community College under the direction of Professor Gergen came to the Center today. We were excited to collaborate with these talented students during our summer camp and happy to have them to fly our Expedition Mars mission. They also got to preview our new mission: Operation Comet. Everyone enjoyed the mission today and look forward to more collaboration in the future!

Product Engineering 2026 🚀🔧🌟

This week, our campers became engineers, innovators, and problem-solvers as they explored the Engineering Design Loop—asking questions, imagining solutions, planning, creating, testing, and improving every step of the way.

From exciting design challenges to rocket launches and simulated space missions, every activity encouraged creativity and perseverance. Watching our young engineers tackle real-world challenges with curiosity and confidence was truly inspiring.

That's a wrap Summer Camp 2026! OVER & OUT🌎✨

🚀 Build. Design. Test. Innovate.

Our Product Engineering Summer Camp is in full swing, and our incoming 9th–12th graders are diving into the engineering design process!

This week, campers are:
Learning the Engineering Design Loop
Brainstorming creative solutions to challenges
Designing, constructing, and testing their own prototypes
Refining their ideas through iteration, collaboration, and problem-solving

It's inspiring to watch these future engineers turn their ideas into reality while building valuable STEM and teamwork skills. It's going to be a great week! 🚀

As we wrapped up an incredible week at Rocket Girls Summer Camp, we're celebrating the curiosity, creativity, and confidence these amazing young women have shown every single day. 🚀✨

From solving challenges and building new skills to exploring the exciting possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and math, this week has been all about discovering what's possible.

We encourage them to look to the remarkable women of NASA's Artemis program as role models and inspiration. These women show us that there is a place for them in STEM fields. We remind them to keep asking questions, keep dreaming big and keep reaching for the stars!🚀✨
