🏆 Paramount students are making their mark on the national stage!

We’re proud to celebrate 23 FCCLA students who represented Paramount at the FCCLA National Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C.—and 8 students earned Top 10 finishes nationally! 🇺🇸✨

🏆 1st Place – Entrepreneurship, Level 3
🥈 2nd Place – Speak Out for FCCLA, Level 3
🥉 3rd Place – Professional Presentation, Level 3
🏅 9th Place – Professional Presentation, Level 2

These students put in countless hours researching, preparing, practicing, and refining their work—and their dedication paid off in a big way.

Beyond competition, students built leadership skills, connected with peers from across the country, served as voting delegates, and explored historic sites throughout Washington, D.C. 🇺🇸

We’re incredibly proud of the way these students represented Paramount with excellence, professionalism, and leadership.

Congratulations to our FCCLA students and the educators, families, and supporters who helped make this experience possible! 👏🎉

Yesterday, Paramount Unified School District proudly welcomed our newest certificated staff members during New Certificated Staff Orientation! 🍎✨

As they begin their journey with Paramount USD, our newest team members spent the day connecting with colleagues, learning about our district, and exploring the tools, resources, and support available to help them make a meaningful impact in the lives of students.

From classrooms to student support services, each of our new certificated staff members will play an important role in creating safe, inclusive, and engaging environments where every student can thrive.

This year's district theme, Uplift: Empowered to Encourage, reminds us that encouragement has the power to inspire confidence, build connections, and help every student reach their full potential. We are excited to see how these outstanding professionals will uplift and encourage our students, colleagues, and school communities throughout the year.

Sweet treats, smiling faces, and the excitement of a brand-new school year!

Families gathered at Mokler Elementary for Popsicles with the Principal, where students picked up their class assignments, connected with classmates, and enjoyed a refreshing popsicle before the first day of school.

We're looking forward to welcoming the Mokler Pilots—and all of our Paramount USD students—back to campus on Monday, August 10! Here's to a school year filled with new friendships, exciting opportunities, and a community that continues to uplift and encourage one another every step of the way. We can't wait to see you! 💙🍎✨
