Today marks a bittersweet yet profoundly proud moment for the Pirate Battalion. As the school year draws to a close, we gather to recognize the relentless work ethic and unwavering dedication of five seniors who have truly been a driving force for “change” in the Battalion. Leadership is never given; it is earned through early mornings, late afternoons, grit, and the courage to put others before oneself. Our Battalion Sergeant Major: The keeper of standards and the ultimate guardian of the colors. Our Battalion Executive Officer: The mastermind behind the scenes, managing the staff and ensuring the battalion's inner workings moved like clockwork. Our Battalion S3: The architect of our operations, turning complex plans, training schedules, and missions into flawless ex*****on. Our Alpha and Bravo Company Commanders: The tip of the spear. The leaders on the ground, who support and direct the training of their Cadets.

On April 28,2026 Cadets were volunteering their time at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank. The cadets decided to donate a few hours of their time, and helped provide food to neighbors in Los Angeles County who face food insecurity. They helped with boxing, sorting, and cleaning food that is later distributed through a network of more than 600 agency partners to neighbors in need. Collectively, our team contributed 51 hours of volunteer service. With our help, we were able to assemble a total of 1,120 kits & 12,631 Ibs of produce while helping families and individuals throughout Los Angeles County have access to nutritious food and will be eating better because of you!

On March 31st / April 1st, the Pirate Battalion conducted Operation Jackson Middle Marauders! We executed a Physical Training event aka "PT challenge" as well as Service-Learning to raise awareness within our young learners. These fun, engaging, and safe activities helped promote physical fitness, build confidence, and provided an introduction to core leadership and community service concepts to middle school students!
