Hot dogs are practically an indispensable part of any Independence Day celebration. Make sure your hot dogs are safe to eat by following these recommendations from the Partnership for Food Safety Education:
🌭Do not let juices from raw hot dogs contaminate ready-to-eat foods like salads.
🌭Cook hot dogs to 165 degrees or until they are steaming. Raw hot dogs can carry bacteria, so avoid eating them without heating first.
🌭Packages of opened hot dogs should be refrigerated within 2 hours and eaten within 1 week.

Have a Happy, Healthy Independence Day Celebration!
