📢 🐦EDIT: We found TWO more bird feeders that were not included in our original post! We’re working to get them added so everyone has a chance to participate in the People’s Choice Award! These TWO bird feeders will be given an additional day for voting to end.

If you do not see your child’s bird feeder posted, please let us know! We want to make sure every bird feeder gets the chance to be voted on.

Thank you for your patience and for helping us make this competition fun for everyone!

🐦🌿 IT’S TIME TO VOTE! 🌿🐦

Our Recycled Bird Feeder Competition is officially underway, and we need YOUR help choosing the People’s Choice Award winner! 🏆

Take a look at all of the creative bird feeders our students have made from recycled materials and LIKE your favorite!

The bird feeder with the MOST LIKES will win the People’s Choice Award!

Share this post with your friends and family! The more votes, the better! Just remember—for a vote to count, they MUST like the picture posted directly on our OGE page. Likes on shared posts or other pages will not be counted.

Thank you for helping us celebrate our students’ creativity, imagination, and love for nature and wildlife! 🌎🐦💚

Voting ends: Monday, October 12th at 3:30 pm

Let the bird feeder battle begin! 🐦🏆

📚🌿 READING + RELAXING = THE PERFECT COMBO! 🌿📚

Mrs. Wendy and Ms. Nikki’s classes took their reading time outside to the hammocks! 🥰📖🪴

There’s nothing better than finding a cozy spot, soaking up some fresh air, and getting lost in a good book! ☀️💙❤️

We love seeing our OGE students making reading fun wherever they are! 📚✨

The houses have lawns, and characters have hair! 🤩
Mrs. Herring’s classes are testing their hypothesis this week by trimming their “hair” and “lawns.” ✂️🌿

They’ll revisit the investigation in a few days to observe what happens and see how their “hair” and “lawns” have changed. 👀

Mrs. Herring’s science classes are getting their hands dirty! Our students planted grass seeds and are observing the plant life cycle as their grass grows. 🌱👀

But now comes the big question… What will happen when we cut the grass? ✂️🌿

Our young scientists are making predictions, observing changes, and learning through hands-on exploration!

🌱 Stay tuned to see what happens next! 🌱

🔥💗 WHAT A TUESDAY at OGE! 💗🔥

Our 3rd and 4th graders learned all about fire safety with a special visit from our local Fire Department! 🚒🧯 We’re so thankful for the time they spent teaching our students such important safety lessons!

And that’s not all… our students showed off their cozy pajamas 💤 while we saw LOTS of PINK around OGE! 🎀

What a fun, exciting, and memorable day at Oak Grove Elementary! We sure know how to make Tuesday a good one! ❤️💙
