⚡ Did You Know PHS Offers an Electrical Pre-Apprenticeship Program? ⚡

Paragould High School is partnering with the Jonesboro Electrical Joint Apprenticeship & Training Committee (JEJATC), IBEW Local 1516, and the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) to give students a head start toward a career as an electrician.

Through the Electrical Training Alliance’s Interim Credentials Program, juniors and seniors can complete up to 180 hours of training through online coursework, hands-on learning, industry presentations, and guest speakers.

Students earn a certificate upon completion, and their training hours can transfer to the JEJATC’s registered four-year apprenticeship—providing an opportunity to enter the program at the second-year level.

⚡ Real training. Real industry experience. Real career opportunities.

Just another way Paragould High School is preparing students for success beyond the classroom!
