Families - this is an opportunity to commemorate the Campfire anniversary with your tribe. Itβs a community type event and it sounds like something you might want to do with your children. Check it out as an option. There will be a pancake breakfast and some rock painting too.
Good afternoon CCCS families!
We are excited to announce that the Parent Involvement Committee (PIC) will be hosting a silent auction at our upcoming Fall Carnival. This event promises to be a fantastic opportunity to
come together as a community and support our school.
Each class will be creating a unique themed basket to be auctioned off, and we encourage you to get involved! Not only will your participation contribute to the success of the auction, but it will
also give you a chance to showcase your creativity and support your child's class. The class with the highest selling basket will win a fantastic prize - either a pizza or ice-cream party!
To find out more about how you can help, we encourage you to reach out to your room parent.
They will provide you with all the necessary information and guidance to make your class basket a standout success.
In addition, there will be a signup sheet available in the office for each class basket. This will allow you to sign up and contribute items to your child's class basket.
Furthermore, we invite you to join the Parent Involvement Committee. By becoming a part of PIC, you will have the opportunity to play a bigger role in planning and organizing future events. It's a wonderful way to make a positive impact on our school and create lasting memories for our CCCS families. There will be a signup sheet in the office with hopes to grow the PIC.
The funds raised from this event and future PIC events will be utilized to create fun school memories, ensuring that our CCCS families have an enjoyable and enriching educational
experience.
Thank you for your support, and we look forward to seeing you at the Fall Carnival!

The goats came to school today! Oh wow - they are beyond cute!
We are looking for a family who might want to put our goats to bed at night. We want to keep them safe from predators.
Are you looking to be that family that takes on the chore? Perhaps a couple nights? Perhaps a few nights?
Please let Jessica know if you are willing to volunteer your time to put our cute goats to bed at night.
Thank you for thinking about it :)

Want to help with the farm next week? We need some extra hands to get ready for our 3 baby goats to arrive. If you are willing to help and get a little hot and dirty - please let us know! Zachary and Willie could use some parent volunteers. The sooner the farm is totally ready for our newest additions - the sooner we can bring them to school.
Great first week of school Hawks!
We will continue to make the 4-8 grade pick easier! It has just gotten better each day. Thank you for your patience while we use our collective brains to streamline the process. Moving forward - we will stage the children near the front of the pickup line. We think this may be causing confusion.
In an effort to load about 15 students at one time - we need cars to pull ALL THE WAY FORWARD. If cars stop at the big fire gate - then we can only load one car at a time and that will make the line even longer for those behind you. The children can walk to the front of the car line when called. We will train our students to walk to the front of the line - and we are hoping all cars will continue to pull forward and not stop at the gate (if you are the front of the line).
We are the Community school! We have the best community ever! So - thank you to our amazing car dismissal parent team - Doug (Jase and Juian's dad), Julie (Isabella and Jayden's mom), Jessica (Vito and Sawyer's mom), and Elaine (Ben and Kylie's mom).
Once the clubs start - we predict an even easier pickup routine. But the good news is - we are finished with pick up by 3:11 and kids are dismissed at 3:00 - so not a bad beginning at all.
We are always open to feedback - so let us know what you think and how to improve.
