Hello PUSD Family and Community. Here is another way to help support our students.

The construction at Paradise High School is making progress! The new classroom building offers many amenities, including enhancing the curb appeal of the campus and allowing for centralized collaboration between teachers. See the site on Maxwell Drive from these aerial images.

This month Paradise High School hosted a Career Expo, coordinated by the Paradise Rotary Club Vocational Committee (Paradise Vocations) . The collaborative effort brought together over eighty local vendors to showcase the wide range of career paths available in our community. Students across the Ridge, ranging from 5th through 12th grade, attended the event.

Construction continues at Paradise High School! The new classroom building can't be missed on Maxwell Drive. Meanwhile, over at at Paradise Ridge Elementary, the mascot eagle mosaic was unveiled last week, in theme with the schools motto: "we will soar". It's an exciting start to the year at PUSD!

The construction projects throughout the District are well underway. Pictured below are the new pickleball courts at Paradise Junior High School, the new Ridgeview High School campus on Maxwell Drive, and the new Paradise High School Classroom building.

While students enjoy the summer break, construction continues on Maxwell Drive. The Ridgeview High School project is nearing completion and the Paradise High School two story classroom building is taking shape. See the progress below!

PHS Athletes FREE PHYSICALS!!! Please get to one of these dates if you are planning on playing sports this year at PHS or PJHS. Please fill out the Participation Physical prior to coming. There will be copies to fill out there too.

Calling ALL Paradise Basketball Players!!!! This is a FREE Camp, we look forward to seeing you there.

This afternoon at the Ridgeview High School Graduation, Jan Keller, Scholarship Chair, presented a $1,000 vocational scholarship on behalf of the Paradise Elks Lodge #2026.
Josiah Simmons was the surprised well-deserving student who graduated early, is planning on attending Butte College and pursuing his goal of being a mechanical engineer. This brings our Paradise Elks lifetime total to $877,000 in academic and vocational scholarships given to Paradise High School students.

PUSD will honor our 18 Retirees this evening at our Regular Board Meeting at 6:30pm at Paradise Junior High School. Congratulations Retirees

The Ridgeview High School project is well underway on Maxwell Drive! On time and scheduled to be completed by the end of May, the campus will be open for use in the fall.

Do you like helping younger students learn about science and team building? 6th graders from Cedarwood, Paradise Ridge and Pine Ridge are going to Shady Creek May 2-6 and need cabin counselors! Cutoff dates for the TK & K Programs:
Kindergarten –> Student turns five on or before September 1, 2022.

Transitional Kindergarten –> Student turns five between September 2, 2022 and February 2, 2023.
Extended Transitional Kindergarten –> Student turns five February 3, 2023 through June 8, 2023. (Extended TK is based on space and site availability. TK students receive priority over Extended TK students)
