Cafaro Aviation is seeking a Piston Engine Aircraft Mechanic to join our team!

Location: Paradise, California
About the Role

This position focuses on the inspection, maintenance, and repair of piston-powered general aviation aircraft. Turbine and rotary-wing experience is also valuable.

Key Responsibilities:

-Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on piston engine aircraft
-Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair airframe and powerplant systems
-Conduct engine inspections and component replacements
-Complete detailed maintenance logs and ensure compliance with FAA regulations
-Assist with aircraft inspections (100-hour, annual, etc.)
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Requirements

-FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license preferred (Previous hands-on experience in aviation maintenance is acceptable in lieu of an A&P license)
-Strong knowledge of piston engine systems and general aviation aircraft
-Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and aircraft drawings
-Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check

-Competitive pay based on experience ($20/hr. minimum up to $45/hr.)
