Northern Recycling & Waste Services Our mission is to eliminate waste, reuse and recycle all resources, provide objective education and Office is Open: Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To set up service and/or receive a quote please call the office. 876-3340. Recycling Center is currently closed. Vegetative Waste Facility is currently closed. Household Hazardous Waste Facility is currently closed.

**Service Update: 2/20/26**

Our trucks are in the field in an attempt to service all Friday customers for their trash. After those routes have been completed, we will attempt to service the trash for our customers who have pickups on Thursdays in the Town and County.

Please leave you containers out for service for all Thursday and Friday customers. In the event we do not get to everyone today, we will look to send our trucks out on Saturday to pick up anyone who we have not serviced this week.

**Service Update for 2/19/26**

Due to the current weather conditions in the Town of Paradise and in our service area in Magalia, we will be unable to safely complete our routes today for our customers. Please leave your containers out so our drivers have an opportunity to service them when the conditions improve.

**Service Update**

With the inclement weather coming to our area tonight, Northern Recycling will plan on running scheduled routes on Thursday, February 19th, if we can operate safely without compromising other vehicle traffic and safely service our customers on plowed roads. We will provide service updates tomorrow, as needed.

🚗♻️ Town of Paradise 2025 FREE Waste Tire Event! ♻️🚗

Got old tires lying around? Bring them to our FREE Tire Collection Event and dispose of them safely—no charge!

📅 When: Saturday, October 11th, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
📍 Where: NRWS, 920 American Way, Paradise, CA 95969
👥 Who: Town of Paradise & Upper Ridge residents

✅ Up to 9 tires per vehicle — multiple trips are okay!
✅ Tires up to 43” and tires with rims accepted
🚫 No tires from waste tire businesses

Vehicles hauling 10–20 tires must register with Butte County Public Health before hauling (530-552-3959).

Event funded by CalRecycle’s Tire Amnesty Grant Program.

Northern Recycling and Waste services and offices will be closed on for the remainder of the day today, 7/3 and all day on 7/4. We will resume normal hours on Monday, 7/7 with a one day delay in service.

Below is our pickup schedule for remainder of the week:
Friday, July 4th: No Collection: Office Closed
Saturday, July 5th: Collection Delayed; Friday Pickup: Office Closed

The Green Waste yard will also be closed on Friday, July 7th. The Green Waste yard will be open on Saturday, July 5th, at 9am.

The Town of Paradise is hosting a Tire Amnesty Event on Saturday, May 10, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at NRWS, 920 American Way, Paradise.

✅ Drop off up to 9 tires per vehicle—FREE!
✅ Tires up to 43” and tires with rims accepted
❌ No tires from waste tire businesses

Open to Town of Paradise and Upper Ridge residents.

**Notice to all Customers**

We have received notice of a scam ghosting our main phone line (530-876-3340) of an automated message posing as Waste Management prompting to pay your bill by pressing "1". If you receive a phone call like this, please do not engage.

NRWS does not participate in automated phone calls, even more so, automated phone calls for payments. We have contacted our provider to get this issue addressed ASAP. Thank you for your patience with this matter.
