Byung -Chul Han ends his book 'The Burnout Society' with an observation of the Western world : "They are too alive to die, and too dead to live".

"The average American touches their phone over 2600+ times per day, imagine if you let God touch your mind as often as you touch your phone?"

Going through the book, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry, and already so many things are standing out to me.

I hope today you find something to be grateful for, an activity to slow you down, and people to be present with. Maybe even join me in reading the book! :)

If you are reading this, it is your sign today. Hold no grudge, judgements, or pain over your brother who has suffered enough along with you. Free yourself from anger and hold out your hand in peace. Attack no further and witness the miracle the Holy Spirit will bring to you. Love was all there ever was, anything else is an illusion God calls you to bring truth to. For He is a just God and the belief that you can be harmed or treated unfairly is a lack of faith in Him.

There is so much masculine energy in our world right now. Go go go, achieve this, get that. We have forgotten the simple joy of just being. To remember your true nature, go inward in meditation, silence the mind, the ego. Be one with the world around you.

When you quiet the mind in meditation you will know peace. Suffering, lack, unworthiness has no place in silence. The real you is realized
