AI is reshaping every industry, and a single statistic can make people far more likely to believe a claim without question. The math behind these decisions is shaping our kids' futures, so what happens when most of them grow up believing they're "not math people"? Counted Out makes the case that math isn't just for engineers and accountants. It's how we separate good information from bad, and it's a skill every student is capable of.
The film starts at 5:30 p.m., followed by a facilitated talkback at 7 p.m. Hosted by the PLCS Empowerment Collective and Mathnasium, and free to all PLCS residents with no registration needed.
