We’re getting ready for spooky season! 👻 We brought in two giant bins packed with decorations, supplies, and some of our favorite past projects. Now we’re sorting, organizing, and giving the studio a Halloween makeover! 🎃🕸️🔮 All that’s left is figuring out our costumes… What do you think we should be?

Yesterday was our first day back for fall classes! It was SO nice having everyone back in the studio. After a whole summer away, it was really sweet seeing old friendships come back together and watching everyone settle right back into the groove like no time had passed. We definitely missed this!

In Art Club, we made silhouette portraits filled with all the things we love. Everyone had so much fun deciding what to put inside their silhouettes, and it was so fun seeing the different things they chose. There were favorite foods, hobbies, animals, people, and lots of little details that made each portrait feel so personal.

We’re so happy to be back & already looking forward to everything we’ll create together this season! 🧡

✨ We’re heading to the Craft & Mercantile Market in Malvern! ✨

Come find us next Friday, September 18th from 5pm-8:30pm for an evening of local makers, community, and creativity!

🪄 We’ll have a free enchanted glow wand craft for kids to make and take home, plus another special activity that we’re keeping a surprise until you arrive! 👀

We hope to see you there! Craft & Mercantile

Yayoi Kusama’s undulating dotted sculptures and infinity rooms are so unique. We got to experience one of her infinity rooms last fall at the Phoenix Art Museum (fantastic place!). It was so disorienting and different. Thank goodness there were exit signs! I’m not sure I would have found my way out otherwise 😄

We’ve been SO lucky to have Miss Annie’s help with summer camp for the third summer in a row! She is patient, caring, responsible, smart, kind and funny — not to mention, great with all the kids, a wonderful artist and excellent at reading to children! Now she’s off to begin a graduate program in Library Science. We’re so excited for her & wish her the best! We’ll miss you, Annie! 🧡
