Meet Keeley Scott, who served as a Summer Intern for Heeke Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab in Dubois, Indiana, this summer.

“Working at the Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab has allowed me to learn a lot of important skills that will be beneficial for me throughout my future in animal sciences and veterinary medicine. By assisting with necropsies and laboratory procedures, I have gained hands-on experience in animal anatomy, diagnostic procedures and disease investigation while developing a greater understanding and appreciation for the role diagnostic laboratories play in animal health. This experience has reinforced my passion for pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and provided me with practical knowledge that I can carry forward in my education.” — Keeley Scott

We are in the middle of breeding season here at PHS! Today, Ms. Hannah Jones reviewed with her classmates the process of Artificial Insemination.

This morning, several members from the Paoli FFA chapter traveled up to the Indiana State Fair to work in the Pork Tent. It was a long day, but we were rewarded with some delicious food for our hard work. Students even got to explore all of the interesting events the fair has to offer!

What a great day for Paoli FFA at the Indiana FFA State Convention!

We are incredibly proud to announce that Caleb Bowles was officially elected to serve as the 2026-2027 Indiana FFA District XII Secretary Caleb has dedicated countless hours to serving our chapter, developing his leadership skills, and preparing for this opportunity. We know he will represent District XII with professionalism, passion, and pride.

We also want to recognize Graydan Padgett for earning his Hoosier FFA Degree, one of the highest honors an Indiana FFA member can receive. The Hoosier FFA Degree recognizes members who have demonstrated outstanding commitment to agricultural education, FFA leadership, community service, and the development of a successful Supervised Agricultural Experience. Earning this degree requires years of dedication, hard work, record keeping, and active involvement beyond the chapter level.

These accomplishments show the dedication and character of these young leaders. Paoli FFA is proud of Caleb, Graydan, and all of our members who continue to represent our chapter with excellence.
