My name is Jess Dankanich. I graduated with my Masters in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College in 2008. The first 14 years of my career have been working in a specialized rehabilitation hospital, with the last 10 years in the outpatient setting, focusing on the treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, concussion, and functional vision deficits. I have received several certifications including LSVT BIG, Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery (PWR!), Parkinson’s Foundation Team Training, and Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS). I am beyond excited to join the team here at Mobility Specialists! I’m ready to share my professional knowledge, experiences, innovation, and creativity to expand this already extraordinary Parkinson’s program into an interdisciplinary model! In addition to providing individualized OT to clients, my goals are to add group classes focused on the upper body, hand dexterity, handwriting, and cognitive skills, as well as to provide resources to caregivers of those with Parkinson’s Disease including support groups and educational sessions. Thank you for welcoming me into this “family” and trusting me to be a part of your journey!
