Kreative Korner Preschool/Daycare Quality Miami County Child Care All day child care and Preschool only programs are available. Prices vary depending on days enrolled, and age of child.

Licensed by the State of Kansas since 1989, Kreative Korner is open from 6:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, and one Saturday a month from 5:00-11:00pm. Discounts apply to families with more than one child enrolled. Certified Teaching Staff, CNA, and on site Surveillance System provided.

Kreative Korner Early Childhood Center officially closed its doors, for the last time, Friday Dec. 10th, 2021, marking the end of a 3 plus decade era. Feb. 2022 would have been 33 years of providing service for the children and families of Miami County and the surrounding areas.
From 1989-1992 Kreative Korner was located in a small building just South of Town Square. After accumulating a waiting list over 100 students long, the decision was made to expand and the center was moved to the Old KC. Rd. location at the beginning of 1993.
After a long battle with Autoimmune disease, struggling to keep running through Covid-19 and a desire to spend more time with her Grandchildren, Ms. Leslie decided it was time to retire and stay home with them.
To say this is bittersweet, is an understatement. This decision was not taken lightly but was neccessary. I have loved devoting my life to teaching, loving and watching all these tiny humans grow and develop. I've had the pleasure of caring for almost 3 generations of family members. Those kids that were 10-12 yrs old in 1989 grew up to have children and now a few, grandchildren of their own. I love and appreciate the Hundreds, if not thousands of families allowing me the privilege of caring for their children all these years.
I want to thank every child, family member, staff and my own family for their love and support. I could not have made it 33 years without you.
Plans for a Retirement party for Ms. Leslie are in the works and the Community will be notified as soon as a date is set. We would love to see as many children and families come to visit as possible.
Effective Monday Dec. 13th, 2021 the Center will become Lil Sprouts Playcare, LLC. We wish Brent and Brandi Randel the very best of luck in expanding their business. They have a great start after putting time and effort into a wonderful remodel process and are ready to provide outstanding care for the children of the Community. I'm looking forward to seeing their success! Congratulations Brent/Brandi Randel 😍

So, sometimes things don't work out, or go as planned, and that's ok. We can all be resilient, like our children. They, for the most part, tend to go with the flow and adjust to their surroundings. Although The deal with Ramsey's Little Rascals has not worked out as planned, I wish Ms. Troi nothing but the best. Please know I am working hard with the new Management that will be taking over beginning Monday August 16th. The center will remain open. I will post more information on who is taking over and the plans that are being made to ensure the best possible outcome for your children. Just know this person has 20yrs experience in early education and owns another successful Center. They will be holding an open house and parent meeting ASAP. They have a staff whom have all had all background checks, fingerprints and required inservice training and are prepared to take over with as smooth transition as possible. I hope each of our families give them the opportunity to continue providing care for your little ones. You will all be receiving a call from either myself or the new Management sometime today. Thank you for your patience and understanding during a chaotic time. Love to you all 😍

Ms. Troi and her Team have been busy painting and re-arranging at the Center, while my team and myself are clearing out our belongings. Please excuse the chaos it is causing and know it will soon be complete and ready to fully function again. Thank you all for your patience. The center will have a NEW PHONE NUMBER in a couple of days. We will let you know what it will be as soon as possible. The current number is still operating through Tuesday.

Please stop by today before 330pm and wish Ms. Vicki and Ms. Lacey Well wishes for their future. Ms. Vicki has been with me at Kreative Korner for, what would've been, 20 yrs this fall. She is looking forward to retirement and spending time with her family and fur baby. Ms. Lacey has been with me almost 3yrs. We've seen her in year 1 get engaged, get married in year 2 and have a beautiful baby girl this year. I love and appreciate these ladies more than they can ever know! I wish them the very best for their future and hope we remain close for years to come. My heart hurts at the end of an era, but know we all have positive things coming our way. MUCH LOVE 💗💖 MS. If school is Out tomorrow, Thur. Feb. 18, the center will open at 645am til 515pm. If school is in session, we will open at 6am.

We are doing late Start/Early Departure on Tues Feb 16th the center will be open, providing we have water, from 645am til 515pm. This will give staff daylight to arrive in the dangerous temperatures. Everyone stay safe and warm❄☃️❄

After 31 yrs. I have decided to step away from the center life to spend time with my granddaughters, family members children and maybe soon a couple other kiddos. This is a bittersweet and difficult decision. Beginning in March the Center will be Directed by Troi Ramsey. I will be here for a few weeks, until her business license arrives. Once that happens the Center will be called Ramsey's Little Rascals. Troi is accepting applications for Enrollment ages birth to 5yrs. She is also interviewing for staff positions...Teachers, Assistants and a Cook. For information please contact Troi Ramsey or call the Center at 913-294-3310. I wish Troi the best of luck in her new business.
I want to take the opportunity to say Thank You to my wonderful family, friends, staff, clients and children who have supported me the past 31yrs. I've loved being a part of so many lives for so many years and truly appreciate you all. I am truly BLESSED❣
