Cheers to a brand new start! 🌱
My year usually begins in August, being a teacher and all, but this year, I’m stepping into a new journey. This fall, I’ll be working alongside some of my favorite humans at Black Thumb Farm. 🤎

I’m so excited to be a student again, to learn, to listen, to grow, and to be part of building reciprocal relationships with the land and with each other all while advocating for food justice and nature connection right here in my hometown, the San Fernando Valley, alongside Alexys Romo and Analisa Joh.

Most of you know I’m an 818er through and through. I love my city, my people, and my culture, but most of all, I love Pacha Mama. 🌎 We are all connected through her, and I’m feeling especially grateful to deepen that connection in this next chapter.

So here’s to new beginnings. To shedding, over and over again. To moving inward, listening deeply, and meeting ourselves for the first time again and again.

Here’s to being a beginner, to staying curious, and to growing in new ways. 🌱✨
