🏈 We kicked off the 2026–2027 Take Stock in Children season in style!

Last week, our TSIC Tailgate Rally brought together scholars, families, mentors, Bay Ed staff, and an incredible lineup of community partners to make sure our students are ready for the season ahead.

We reviewed the playbook, talked scholarships and opportunities, learned how to avoid a few flags on the play 🚩, and connected students with resources to help them succeed in high school and beyond. And yes—the referee made sure everyone knew the rules. 😆🏁

A huge thank you to our “Special Teams” who joined us to share college and career pathways. We are grateful to have such a strong team surrounding our scholars.

🍎 👏Apple Applause for Chautauqua Learn & Serve!

We are incredibly grateful to Chautauqua Learn and Serve Charter School in Panama City for their very generous donation to Bay Education Foundation, given in honor of Dolly Parton and her well-known love for all of God’s children.

And in true Chautauqua spirit, this gift also recognizes many wonderful people connected to their organization who share that same love for children and commitment to making a difference.

🍎👏 Apple Applause for First Federal Foundation!

We are so grateful for a generous $5,000 grant from First Federal Foundation to support the Bay Education Foundation Teacher Resource Store!

Their investment is helping us expand access this school year so every Bay District Schools teacher has an opportunity to shop for free classroom supplies, reducing out-of-pocket costs for educators and putting more resources directly into classrooms.
