Building Better Conversations!

Today, some of our mentees had the opportunity to work on their communication skills using conversation cards from It’s Time to Say Goodnight.

I discovered these cards while attending Invest Fest and purchased them from Five Roots. I thought they would be a great resource to bring back and share with our mentees.

We used the cards to open up conversations, learn more about one another, and practice expressing our thoughts. This is something we plan to continue incorporating into our mentorship program as we help our young men become stronger and more confident communicators.

A special thank you to Five Roots for creating a resource that we can use to build meaningful conversations with our youth.

A Little Late, But Still Showing Up!

Even though we’re a little late getting started, we were happy to provide some of our mentees with school supplies to help them throughout the school year! ✏️📓🎒

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who donated and helped make this possible. Your support allows us to continue showing up for our youth and making sure they have some of the tools they need to succeed.

More Than Just an Organization—We’re a Helping Hand.

At Bay Heart Foundation, we believe in practical help. We don’t just talk about community; we get our hands dirty! Here is a look at some of the things we’ve done in the past:

• Situational Awareness Training: Keeping our neighbors safe and informed.

• Community Cleanups: Picking up trash to keep our spaces beautiful.

• Practical Skills: Changing oil and swapping out tires for those in need.

We believe that "Heart" means showing up when it counts. We are proud of our history and even more excited for our future!

Thanks for the acknowledgment

This year, our Club kids participated in Charity for Change and chose to have the funds they raised donated to the Bay Heart Foundation . We were so touched to receive this heartfelt letter of thanks and encouragement to continue living life with kind hearts.

We are always so grateful to our community for the incredible support they show our Club and our kids. We ask for help from our community often, and our kids couldn’t wait for the opportunity to give back to those who so graciously step up and support us in our times of need. What a beautiful lesson in generosity, gratitude, and paying it forward.

We couldn’t be prouder of our kids for recognizing that even small acts of kindness can make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. Their compassion and generosity remind us that when we come together as a community, we can make a difference.

Thank you to the Bay Heart Foundation for the beautiful letter and for the important work you do in our community.

May we all continue to give with kind hearts, serve with purpose, and pay kindness forward.
