Migration of Ashes: Landscapes Without End by Tyler Nicholson explores displacement and memory through the cycles of conflict, greed, upheaval, and forced migration.
Working primarily in clay, Nicholson creates dense, weathered forms influenced by the geology of the American Southwest, agricultural labor, and desert landscapes. The result is work that feels both ancient and contemporary, weathered by time, memory, and experience.
Come experience the exhibition at the Amelia Center Gallery.
