Tryouts were a couple of weeks ago, so we don't want to wait another minute to congratulate our 2026-2027 Million Dollar Band Colorguard Team!

Congratulations to the Bay High School Symphonic Band on a beautiful performance at Florida State University's Opperman Hall today as part of the Florida Band Association STATE Music Performance Assessment!

We are so heartbroken that our Asst. Band Director and Jinks Middle School Band Director is retiring this year.

Ms. Walsingham has been a tremendous asset to both of the band programs, and leaves behind students hungry to continue in the successes she has accomplished.

The next Director will step into a great program and facility, with some very talented student musicians!

Congratulations to Bay High School alumni, Dr. Allen Parrish, for being appointed as the Associate Director for Kansas State University!

Dr. Allen Parrish joins the Kansas State University family as Associate Director of Bands. Since 2021, he has served as Director of “The Sound of Today” Athletic Bands at the University of Louisiana Monroe. He holds degrees from Troy University, Pittsburg State University, and the University of Southern Mississippi.

Dr. Parrish is passionate about creating a band experience that students genuinely enjoy while growing as musicians, leaders, and people. He values high standards, meaningful involvement, and a culture where students feel invested in what they are building together. He is an active clinician, adjudicator, and conductor, with research interests in leadership development and interdisciplinary arts. He is excited to get to work with the students and faculty at Kansas State.
