We are considering adding a five-year old group to our Learning Center - but we need to have 7 to make a class! One of our existing teachers is PASSIONATE about teaching this age, so we're opening this possibility!

Because of some additional space that has become available to us here on the school-house property, we still have a few slots open in each age group.

We are a home-school coop that operates like a small private school. We offer a full academic program for LA, math and history, with varied sciences, art, music and hands-on projects, as well.

Our groups are never larger than 10 with a floating helper.

We use varied curriculums, including TGTB, Apologia, Teaching Textbooks, and others.

We also garden, keep chickens and have access to a working farm.

Our students move around during the day, transitioning between their desks, small tutoring group areas, and outside.

We are a direct provider with the Step-Up Scholarship as a Homeschool Instructional Program.

We have just finished up our fourth year here at TLC - and what an amazing year it was!

We were challenged to grow in LA, math, history and science! We grew a garden, tended our chickens, learned what it means to be kind and respectful EVERY day, made lasting friendships, and were reminded that a love-of-learning is a God-given gift!

As we close out this time with these amazing kiddoes and their families, our heart is set on next year's preparations.

We have a little more room, so we are opening up to a few more students - although we have no intention of getting "big."

As of today, the 8-11 slots are mostly full, we have three "middle-school" age openings (12-14), and several openings for 5, 6 7.

We have enjoyed meeting lots of new families lately, as they have come for visits - the first step to our application process. Please remember, a child is only considered once the paperwork has been turned in!

We have lots of decisions to make - and we have made a commitment to let each parent know something by the end of June.

Hayley McLemore

We had the best time with Hayley McLemore yesterday. She came to do an Equine-Husbandry Unit with our students, giving them an opportunity to learn a bit about grooming and then they got to have a ride.

We have openings for all ages K5 - 8th grade

NOTE: Five year old class (We will add this age if we have enough to make the class! So far, we are about 35% there! We already have a gifted teacher with a passion for these Littles!)
