New year, new month, new memory verse! 📖✨

In January we're learning 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."

Parents! You're invited to join us next Wednesday for the GCA Christmas Party! 🎄🍪🎉

We love hearing our students recite their memory verse each month! In December, we're learning Luke 2:11.🌟📖

We're counting down the days to winter break with a week of Christmas cheer! 🎄🔔✨ December 15-18 students may participate in our daily Christmas themes. As always, participation in spirit weeks is not required.

**On spirit days, students must still wear uniform bottoms and shoes. If a student chooses not to participate, they should come in their full GCA uniform. Please note that any items outside of the dress code—or spirit wear that doesn’t follow GCA’s guidelines for modesty and appropriateness—won’t be allowed.

Reminder: GCA will have release at 11:30am on Monday, November 10th. There will be no school on Tuesday, November 11th in honor of Veteran's Day. 🇺🇸🪖

New month, new memory verse! 🍂📖

In November, we're hiding Psalm 136:1 in our hearts: "O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever."

As you practice this month's verse together as a family, take a few moments to practice gratitude and reflect on all of God's blessings. 🙏💛

Cold Weather Uniform Reminders 🍂
As cooler fall temperatures arrive, we want to remind everyone of our cold weather uniform guidelines to help students stay warm and looking their best!

Layers:
Students may wear a solid black long-sleeve shirt under their polo. Girls may also wear solid black leggings or tights under their skirts.

Jackets:
The only jacket allowed inside the classroom is the black fleece jacket. Sweatshirts, hoodies, and other non-uniform jackets or coats may not be worn indoors - and will be stored during class time. Students are permitted to wear non-uniform coats for outdoor activities like recess and PE.
