We are excited to announce our fall Scoring for Education sponsor Peoples Bank & Trust for Varsity Volleyball 🏐 and Football 🏈 programs. For each Ace & Touchdown scored by the Panthers during home games, People’s Bank & Trust will make a donation to the foundation. Funds raised from this program are used to support Teacher Mini-Grants & other classroom initiatives throughout the district. Peoples Bank has been a long term sponsor of Scoring for Education.

We’ve been a little busy lately! The Pana Education Foundation recently delivered Teacher Mini-Grants for 2026. This year we received a variety of requests from hands on activities to 3D printers that will benefit students from Elementary through High School grade levels. The Education Foundation has been providing Mini-Grants to support teachers in the Pana Unit #8 district for over 20 years! This level of support would not be possible without the support from our community and business sponsors.

GREAT NEWS! New teachers to the Pana unit #8 School District that will be starting 2026-2027 may be eligible for up to $200 in reimbursements to assist in classroom startup! Please keep receipts for classroom supplies as they will be needed to apply for reimbursement. More information to follow on reimbursement submissions.

The Pana Education Foundation has recently approved Teacher Mini-Grants for the 2026-2027 school year. Approved mini-grant orders are in process! We’d like to thank everyone that applied for a mini-grant this year and are looking forward to presenting those to each recipient!
