⭐ BIG RESULTS FROM THE STATE FAIR OF TEXAS! ⭐
Congratulations to Gray County 4-H members Anleigh and Hadleigh Bowers on a great showing in the Market Steer Show at the 2026 State Fair of Texas!

🏆 Anleigh Bowers won her class and went on to be named Champion Lightweight British Steer!

👏 Hadleigh Bowers also had a strong showing, placing 13th in the Lightweight Black & Red Cross class.

What makes that championship even more special is that Anleigh’s steer is a partnership steer owned by both Anleigh and Hadleigh. Both girls have put in the work to get him to Dallas and into the winner’s circle!

And the State Fair experience isn’t over yet! Anleigh will walk their Champion Lightweight British Steer through the Youth Livestock Auction today! The sale begins at 1:00 p.m.

We are proud of these two Gray County 4-H members and all the hard work they have put into their steer projects. Congratulations, Anleigh and Hadleigh!
