It’s a great day to be a cosmetologist. We have been so busy over the summer- huge THANK YOU to all of our clients that have come to see us. 🤗 our small but mighty summer class has done an absolutely incredible job, with finals approaching we are sure that the end to this semester will match that energy 💚🐾

Pell Grant = Free Money for School

A Pell Grant is one type of financial aid you may receive after completing the FAFSA.

The best part:
✅ It is not a loan
✅ It generally does not have to be paid back
✅ It can be used for tuition, fees, books, supplies, and other educational expenses.

FAFSA = The Application

FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid. It’s a form you fill out every year that tells colleges and the federal government about your financial situation.

How Much Could You Get?

For the 2026–2027 award year, the maximum Pell Grant is up to about $7,395 for eligible students, though many students receive less depending on their circumstances.

The Process:

1. Fill out the FAFSA.
2. The government reviews your information.
3. Your college receives the results.
4. The college creates a financial aid package.
5. If you qualify, the Pell Grant is applied to your school costs.
6. You attend school and keep meeting eligibility requirements.
