All my life, I have dedicated myself to developing and sharing the Jiu-Jitsu that I learned from my father: not only its technical approach to self-defense, but also its deeper philosophy of personal growth and empowerment.
In recent years, as the sportive aspect of Jiu-Jitsu has grown around the world, and the art has become more focused on competitions and competitors, I have felt an increasing responsibility to preserve and pass on the core aspects that I feel are now being lost, for the ones who need Jiu-Jitsu the most.
With this in mind, I am very excited to announce the launch of my new affiliate program. Rickson Gracie United will be an international of Jiu-Jitsu clubs, schools and academies committed to this mission. It will will facilitate instructor certification courses, offer expanded online educational resources, provide access to instruction with myself and other senior RGU members, and afford affiliates the opportunity to be part of a global community of similarly motivated instructors and practitioners.
