Stagg Marching Chargers

Stagg Marching Chargers The Amos Alonzo Stagg High School Marching Chargers from Palos Hills, IL! Membership in the Marching Chargers is voluntary.

Criteria: Volunteer Co-Curriculuar Ensemble
Meets: Summer rehearsals, Tuesday and Thursdays 5-8 during the school year, performs for all home football games in addition to 4-5 competitions throught the fall. Grades: 9-12

Perhaps the most visible and accessible of the many Stagg Band ensembles, the four-time (2005, 2006, 2010, 2011) Grand Champion Marching Chargers annually performs at all home Charger football games. The Marching Chargers is a very select and close-knit organization, which annually includes approximately 105 of Stagg’s finest and most dedicated students. (Please note that it does not have to be 105 members; it can be more!)

Headed to the forefront of great high school marching bands, the Marching Chargers continues to be recognized for its outstanding achievements. In addition to marching band competition appearances, the Marching Chargers have been selected numerous times to perform for the world at Walt Disney World in Florida. The band rehearses two evenings a week, outside of the regular school day.
