🎓Alumni Spotlight: Caitlin Tamminga (Bergsma) ‘23

Meet Caitlin, a 2023 graduate with a B.A. in Health Communication and a Marketing minor! After four years on the soccer field at Trinity—where she met her now-husband, Matt Tamminga, on the very first day of preseason—she tied the knot with him in April 2025. The pair, both originally from Grand Rapids, have since settled in Munster, Indiana.

In October 2024, she joined Trinity’s Marketing & Communications team, putting her skills to work in digital advertising. When they’re not working, she and Matt channel their competitive edge into golf and spend most of their time with loved ones—celebrating post-grad weddings, traveling (including a memorable trip to Israel in 2023!), and soaking up this season of life together.
