GlitterGlue Art Studio: Make something magical! We teach private art lessons and host pop-up weekend art classes for kids ages 4+.
I have been a full time art teacher since 2004, and I currently teach in District 118. I hold a Bachelor's of Fine Arts & Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction from National Louis University. I am also National Board Certified in Early/Middle Childhood Art. I grew up doing every type of art and craft I could get my hands on,

After 3 lovely summers, I am officially saying goodbye (for now) to The Center. I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family. I hope everyone will continue to check out their wonderful class offerings! I know I will!

This session flew by! How did we make so much art in just 5 days?! Today our dedicated artists took home ceramic baskets, self portraits, marionettes, and dyed wall hangings. Our next session starts on Monday!

There are two more summer sessions of Kids Art left! Start dates are July 16th (2 weeks) and July 30th (1 week). Classes are filling up fast...if you were thinking of signing up, now is the time!
Sessions of Outdoor Art for Kids starts Monday, June 25! Students work outdoors and inside our Log Cabin art studios. Throughout each session students experiment with a variety of art mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery and more, as well as going hiking and on other fun trips around The Center’s property. For students entering grades K-6.
•Session 1: June 25 - June 29, class is held Monday - Friday from 9:00-11:00 each day, $90
•Session 2: July 2- July 13, class is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 2 weeks, 9:00-11:00 each day, $110
•Session 3: July 16- July 27, class is held Monday, Wednesday and Friday for 2 weeks, 9:00 - 11:00 each day, $110
•Session 4: July 30 - August 3, class is held Monday - Friday from 9:00- 11:00 each day, $90
All sessions end with a fun art show!
