Last weekend, we attended our first conference of the year, GMUN. Our 9 delegates who attended were all novice delegates, and it was a great learning experience for all of them. They enjoyed the crisis committees such as King Frederick's Court, and are eager to improve their research and debate skills for our next conference of the year. Shoutout to Ryan Wisowaty for getting Outstanding Delegate in IMO and for Nilo Tehrani for getting a verbal commendation in King Frederick's Court. Thank you to Gunn for hosting GMUN :)

Paly Model UN had a great time at the Berkeley Model UN Conference this past weekend! We're super proud of all our amazing delegates and even if BMUN was the bittersweet end of our conference season, we still have plenty of fun activities planned ahead. As a fun addition, Paly MUN won the following awards:

- Commendation: Asia Gardias (UNFCC, Australia)
- Research: Aidan Maese-Czeropski and Tara Madhav (DISEC, Ghana)

Paly Model UN had an educational and rewarding weekend at Santa Clara Valley Model UN Conference in south San Jose this weekend! It was the most successful conference in the history of the club, where several delegates won awards, including:

Best Delegate:
- sophomore Asia Gardias and freshman Ryan Wisowaty for the UN Environmental Programme committee

Honorable Mentions:
- seniors Aidan Maese-Czeropski and Kim Markevitch for Social-Humanitarian committee
- seniors Alicia Mies and Tara Madhav for LEGAL committee

Congrats to everyone who attended on a great weekend! And a big thank you to our advisors Mr. Farina and Ms. Wixsom and our former advisor Mr. Blackburn for everything you've done for the club — our appreciation knows no bounds.
