This time of year is full of growing, learning and taking big steps. Our preschoolers at Downtown children's Center are taking that big step of graduation, and taking all they learned at DCC into kindergarten.

We're so happy to see our little ones grow up and make our PACCC community even bigger!

Congratulations to all our graduates at DCC!

And thanks to Director Hahn, RC Melissa and the whole DCC staff for getting them ready that big world 🌎 🎓 🎉

May 7, 2026 is National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. PACCC is dedicated to creating safe, healthy spaces for children to learn, play and grow. The PACCC staff is spreading awareness by wearing green, the official ribbon color, which “signifies new life, growth, and new beginnings.” Let’s help spread the word on the importance of mental health, reduce any stigmas associated with the subject, and create a sense of hope, strength, empathy and community!

PACCC was so grateful to attend the Palo Alto Tall Tree Awards! The Tall Tree Awards celebrate those who make a profound difference in our community. Honorees are carefully selected based on their local impact, the breadth of their contributions, the diversity of the individuals they impact, and the timeliness and originality of their contribution. So great to see everyone having a great time, celebrating all the wonderful work that happens in our city!

Join our friends from Stanford Cardinal Community this Sunday, May 3 from 11:00am-1:30pm at Arguello Field on the Stanford Campus for the A B Trees event. Enjoy games and activities while interacting with Stanford student athletes! This is a great opportunity for children ages 3-12 to connect with mentors and learn the value of both education and athletics. Team members from football, rowing, artistic swimming, and gymnastics will be present!

Note: All minors are required to be supervised by parents/guardians for the duration of the event, and a waiver must be signed prior to the event or upon arrival. You can find the waiver at
