Weekends are for hanging with friends. At camp we have the "friendship stump". A perfectly located hangout right on the main road that cuts right through camp. A great place to hang with friends and meet new ones as well.
Our counselors created “Pinecrest Roads, Take Me Home,” a Pinecrest-inspired version of the classic John Denver song. It’s not polished. It’s not perfect. And that’s exactly what makes it so special.
Because camp isn’t about perfection, it’s about growth.
It’s about allowing your child to try something new, build confidence, and discover who they are away from screens, schedules, and expectations. It’s about friendships formed around campfires, laughter that echoes through the trees, and moments of independence that quietly shape who they’re becoming.
At Pinecrest, kids are encouraged to be fully themselves — to play hard, feel deeply, take risks, and belong. This video captures the heart of that experience and the love our counselors pour into creating a place where your child feels safe, seen, and celebrated.
We hope it reminds you why camp memories last a lifetime — and why Pinecrest feels like home to so many.

We love celebrating Fridays at camp with our weekly Green vs Yellow Spirit Day! This day is meant to bring some friendly competition to camp. Starting the morning with all campers down at the lake, participating in challenges throughout the day and ending in a Yellow vs Green camp song. We look forward to Fridays!
Time on the lake does something special. Through kayaking, campers connect with nature, moving at their own pace... Pinecrest Lake is always best with some laughs, splashes, and water games mixed in.

Run for Fun Summer Camp is where your friends hang out. Every summer, friends come to camp together, old friends meet up again, and new friends are made. This is what we love most about camp.
Learning to ride a horse isn’t just about fun—it’s about growth. At camp, campers build confidence, balance, and responsibility while forming a special bond with these amazing animals. Each lesson teaches patience, focus, and respect—skills that go far beyond the saddle. Plus, a bit of camp silliness at the end!
