🏃♀️🔥 Last weekend, Brooke O. shattered her personal best again—dropping 11 seconds—and finished as the CCS runner-up in the 3200m!
Now she’s headed to the CIF State Finals this Saturday, May 31 at Buchanan High School (Veterans Memorial Stadium) in Clovis, CA. Catch the 3200m final at 9:20 PM.
Let’s go, Brooke — we’re cheering you on every step of the way!

After crushing her personal best time by 19 seconds, Brooke O. won the CCS Semi Finals last Saturday in the 3200 meter race. Her performance in the 3200 meter and 1600 meter races qualified her for CCS finals in both events this Sat, May 24 at Gilroy High School. Go Brooke!!

Our Story
Athletics are a fundamental part of the overall educational experience at Castilleja. The athletic program strives to teach students physical and mental skills, self-discipline, and sportsmanship, while motivating athletes to strive for excellence. The value of participation in sports is broad and life-long, developing teamwork, organizational and leadership skills. Castilleja athletes are a source of pride and unity to the school community.
Supported by outstanding coaches and facilities, our varsity teams are consistently competitive at the regional and state level, and each year individual athletes are recruited by colleges.
The Athletic Department at Castilleja School offers eleven varsity sports in the Upper School. Fall sports include Tennis, Volleyball, Water Polo, Cross Country, and Golf. Winter sports include Basketball and Soccer. Spring sports include Lacrosse, Softball, Swimming, and Track and Field. We compete in the West Bay Athletic League for all of these sports except Water Polo, which compete in the Peninsula Athletic League.
