We have been having SO MUCH FUN in Los Altos this week!!! The smiles are endless, and the kindness and joy these campers exude is magical.

Holidays featured: Christmas, Halloween, Valentines Day, Earth Day, May 4th (Star Wars Day) and a Birthday!!!!
See you tomorrow at 2:30 for the play! We suggest arriving at least 15 minutes early— parking may be difficult with all of the other camps.

Camp Imagineerz isn’t just a camp — it’s a series of adventures. This week’s theme was “Accident in the Lab!” Our campers became scientists and engineers, navigating the unexpected twists of lab accidents with creativity and critical thinking.

Our campers are deeply involved in acting, dancing, and crafting their own sets, props, and costumes, turning their performance into a dynamic display of their growth and learning over the session.

Within our Makerspace, campers face the challenge of constructing intricate miniature castles as well as their own microscopes. From group projects to individual tasks, our intentionally hands-off approach allows each camper to explore a wide range of materials and decide how to tackle each challenge, fostering independence and innovation.

The playful spirit of competition comes alive as campers take on counselors in games, like capture the flag. Don’t forget Water Wednesday—prepare for a fun-filled water balloon fight to beat the midweek heat!

Our approach to storytelling, combined with practical applications, embeds essential life skills. Positive attitudes and resilience are not merely taught but woven into the fabric of daily activities, helping campers go from “I can’t” to “I can!”

Designing, building, collaborating, laughing, playing - It was another great week at Camp Imagineerz! We can’t wait to see you next week for our Accident in the Lab! session 🎉🥽🧪🥼🔬🧫

Crazy hair day was CRAZY. So many fun and crazy hairstyles, campers and parents alike!!!

We will see you all tomorrow for the ✨PLAY✨ at 2:30pm. We will start promptly at 2:34, so make sure youre on time! Parking is limited. We will have our Leaders in Training (LIT’s) at the front of the school to help show you where to go!

Camp is off to a strong start!! The campers have already made amazing friends, and were so supportive of each other during relays!

Tomorrow they find out what part they are in the play… be sure to ask your child what they’re hoping to be!

Interested in increasing independent and screen-free play this summer? In under 30 minutes, you can assemble a home makerspace for kids. Makerspaces don’t need to be large or complicated. Work with your child to gather the materials below - your budding engineer, artist, and tinkerer will be very happy!

* Recyclables (egg cartons, boxes, etc.)
* Paper towel and toilet paper rolls
* Bendy straws or popsicle sticks
* Aluminum foil
* Masking tape
* Scissors
* Crayons or markers
