2026 INTL Connect’s theme, “Connection Across Languages and Disciplines for Deeper Learning” brought our community together this past Sunday to explore how language, culture, curiosity, and shared experiences can create deeper connections and broaden our perspectives. We were honored to hear from two members of the INTL community, alumna Sian Felsovanyi and alumni parent Olivier Crémel, who shared personal stories about multilingualism, multiculturalism, and the unexpected connections that emerge when we remain open to others. From Sian’s experiences navigating multiple languages and cultures to Olivier’s reflections on the common ground between French and Chinese perspectives, both speakers offered meaningful reminders of the power of curiosity, openness, and human connection. Today, the INTL community celebrated the German tradition of Schultüte with 1st Graders from all three language programs (Chinese, French, and German). Our Head of School, Barbara Greiner, presented each child with a Schultüte, an adorned cone-shaped container typically made of paper or cardboard. Every Schultüte was filled with toys, school supplies, and other special treats. In Germany, the first day of school is cherished as a significant milestone, symbolizing the commencement of a student's academic journey.

One of our signature programs, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, is the world’s top youth achievement award, equipping young people for life by completing a team adventure in a new environment, improving their physical fitness, learning a new skill, and volunteering in their community.
This last school year, INTL High School students participated in an Adventurous Journey at either Hetch Hetchy or Mt Tamalpais. Several of our students achieved Gold, Silver, or Bronze awards. Congratulations to Silja F., Yarah H.-T., Lucas P. and Indy S. for achieving the Gold Award!

INTL's Diploma candidates achieved a 100% pass rate, and we are incredibly proud of their accomplishments.
