Last week, INTL held its annual PYPx! The event showcases each student’s Primary Year Programme journey through a cumulative project. Each project contained a Central Idea which guides their research and is presented in both English and the student's target language to the INTL community and families. At the end of the evening students received their Primary Year Programme Certificate of Completion. Let's give our 5th Grade PYPx 2026 presenters a round of applause! 👏

Students on both Willows and Cohn Campuses hosted Celebration of Learning Showcases last month! Centered around the PYP themes of “How We Express Ourselves” and “How We Organize Ourselves,” students from Preschool through 4th Grade shared their learning outcomes with family and friends through interactive art exhibits, elaborate geographical displays, and dynamic performances. It was a proud moment for our Dragons as they showcased their learning and celebrated their growth with loved ones.

Two nights, three languages, and a stage full of incredible talent!

A huge round of applause to our amazing INTL 8th Graders for their spectacular performances last week at the Cubberley Theater with the annual 8th Grade plays. Over two unforgettable nights, our students brought the power of bilingualism to life, showcasing not just their incredible language fluency, but their deep comprehension of complex texts and artistic expression.

The first night's audience was treated to a double feature of dramatic artistry with the Chinese Program's performance of The Legend of ShangHe Town (上河演义) and the German Programs's production of Sherlock Holmes: Das getupfte Band (The Speckled Band). The following evening, the French Program and Upper School Language Acquisition Program captivated the theater with their compelling performance of Dans la tête de Jean-Baptiste (Inside Jean-Baptiste's Head).

A massive thank you to the dedicated teachers, directors, crew, and parents who supported this production behind the scenes.

INTL’s 7th and 8th Grade students showcased their creativity, curiosity, and scientific spirit at this year’s International Science Exhibit. From hands-on experiments to innovative designs and awareness projects, each display reflected the passion and hard work our students poured into their explorations. Thank you to our parent judges, student volunteers, and supportive families who helped make the night a celebration of discovery and learning.
