Today marks the end of our mural painting process! So, here’s a teaser of the Northeastern State Symbol (Delegate Designee Teehee’s Alma Matter) element of the mural. The original design and colors was created by Palo Alto High School’s Kellyn Scheel and was painted by our mural team. Meet Cherokee Nation’s Delegate Designee, Kimberly Teehee, and how she strives to make change through being seated as a Delegate to the House of Representatives. Though she will serve as a non-voting member, she will still be able to bring forth legislation and voice concerns of the Indigenous populations.
