The Bridge to Success for our scholar is RTE…
Choosing Westmont College was a dream come true, but navigating the transition from high school to a rigorous collegiate environment is never a solo act. RTE stepped in to provide the support system I needed to thrive.
The greatest impact on my college life has been my mentor, John Fitton. John didn’t just offer advice; he offered a warmth that became a cornerstone of my college experience. Whether he was checking in to see how I was handling my heavy course load or offering guidance on life’s bigger questions, his presence was a constant reminder that I wasn’t alone in this process. He is, quite simply, amazing.
Reinforcing Human Connections
For me college has been a fascinating stage of life. It’s where I’ve been able to cultivate my own thoughts and reinforce my learning through internships and helping others on campus. I’ve faced academic challenges and celebrated great successes, all while keeping my focus on the goal: using my natural talents to serve God and help people in every way I can. 😍😍😍👨🏼🎓👩🎓🧑🏽🎓Donate today to invest in a new generation! www.RiseTogetherEd.org or Zelle, Venmo or PayPal to [email protected]

Meet Jason Or, Paly ’22, who is studying Cybersecurity at Purdue University and heading to Carnegie Mellon University for his Master’s in Information Security. At Purdue, the work was intense—late nights, tough labs, and moments of doubt. But through Rise Together Education, Jason had the support he needed: mentorship and guidance through challenges, and access to opportunities that prepared him for what’s next.
Now, he’s headed to Pittsburgh with a plan—and proof of the RTE Effect.
Your support helps students like Jason take on the “impossible” and turn it into opportunity.

Meet Gerardo, Paly ’21 and a graduate of UC Merced. Gerardo faced challenges many peers did not —including being unable to work during his first two years of college. Through Rise Together Education, he found the support he needed: scholarships that made college possible and a mentor who guided him through academics, life decisions, and key milestones. With that support, Gerardo gave back—volunteering at UC Merced’s Monarch Center. His journey shows what’s possible with guidance, opportunity, and community.
You can help students like Gerardo reach the finish line. Every gift—$25 to $250—supports scholarships and mentorship that turn potential into reality.

Join Paly’s Rise Together Education’s 10th Annual Spring Fundraiser. This year, RTE’s goal is more critical than ever as we accept 13 Paly graduates from the Class of 2026 into our program. We aren’t just raising money for scholarships; we are creating the village that ensures our scholars don’t just start college, but finish it. Your gift to RTE ensures that first-generation college students don’t just get into college, but that they have the financial and emotional village required to graduate. Whether it’s $50 or $500, 98% of your contribution goes directly toward scholarships, and we will provide one-on-one mentorship programs that turn daunting obstacles into opportunities for growth. Thank you for believing in our Paly grads, and for believing in the mission of Rise Together Education. Together, we are building a more equitable future: one college graduate at a time.
