I was just looking through our instructor Jared's new guide on Arduino, and it does a really good job breaking down what these little boards actually do. Basically, they let kids write code to control real objects like motors, alarms, and sensors. It's a great way to help them understand how the everyday electronics around your house actually work behind the scenes.
