Information about Sensei Jon Keeling, Karate instructor, writer, seminar-organizer Started Shotokan in 1982 and got hooked from day 1.
Spent a total of 8 years in Tokyo. Now teaching 20+ hours each week to all ages and skill levels through Silicon Valley Karate and additional 4 hours/week at Stanford University (and many private lessons). In addition to traditional Karate, also teaching real world self-defense. Have done over a dozen martial arts over the years but Shotokan has always been my primary focus.
