Dear Friends,

We are thrilled to finally place the film “Awareness” that Michael Bailey has spent many years preparing, into your viewing field. The film began when Michael participated in a Natural Awakening course. All participants in the course are required to assemble a group of people so that they can apply what they are learning in the course in a real, practical situation.

Michael asked me if, as a cinematographer, he could use the video medium, with the intention of offering nondual transmission through a film. I agreed to support him in this.

So here we are, a documentary film that’s intended to give you a real, direct taste of pure awareness itself. We hope the film helps you open into the primordial space that has been discovered and cultivated by 100,000 masters over the centuries.

With great love and appreciation for all the supporting conditions that have allowed the project to come to fruition. Please enjoy.

While it is true that the unconditioned depends on absolutely no conditions, simultaneously, it is also true that in order for us to bring the unconditioned into our lives, we must create very particular conditions that support the continual realization of this. In this video, taken from our last Radiant Mind course in Portland, I explore this idea with the participants of the course.

Ancient philosophies have likened our existence relative to the timeless as being fireflies, bubbles in a stream, or waves in the ocean. To be embodied in this body-mind is indeed a precious opportunity. Here we can be in the vastness of Unconditioned Awareness while retaining the deep knowledge that we are not and never have been separate from such Awareness. The greatest opportunity we have is in remembering this.
