A little insight into some of the 1:1 sessions I’ve been running with students this week 👩‍🏫

Each student chooses what they’d like to focus on, and I plan tailored resources in advance to deliver high-level, targeted tuition.

This week so far, we've explored Rf values in paper chromatography in Chemistry, series and parallel circuits (and the calculations to check understanding of circuit rules) in Physics, as well as energy resources and data-based questions to strengthen exam skills.

Today's sessions have had a more Biology focus, from discussing the benefits and risks of stem cells to studying the circulatory system and the functions of the heart.

It’s fantastic seeing students take ownership of their learning and really engage with the topics that matter most to them! 🌟

One of the best parts of using Pencil Spaces, the teaching platform I deliver my lessons through, is the level of interaction it allows. We can both engage directly with the lesson, watch animations to aid understanding, or complete matching activities through interactive learning games.
