🦷 Learning About Healthy Choices for Our Teeth! 🍓🥦

Today at Just4Kids ChildCare, our little learners explored which foods are more tooth-friendly and which foods are better enjoyed less often.

Children carefully cut, sorted, and matched the different foods into the correct groups — turning one hands-on activity into many opportunities for learning. ✂️

Along the way, they practiced:
🖐️ Fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
✂️ Scissor control
🧠 Sorting, comparing, and making choices
🍓 Recognizing different foods
🦷 Learning simple ways to care for healthy teeth

Hands-on activities like this help children connect everyday choices with caring for their bodies while strengthening important early learning skills. 💛

Sometimes you ask your child, “What did you do at childcare today?” and the answer is:

“Nothing… we just played.” 😂🤍

But behind that “just playing” is so much learning.

🧩 Building with blocks develops problem-solving and logical thinking.
🎨 Drawing and painting support creativity and fine motor skills.
👧🏼👦🏻 Playing with friends teaches communication, cooperation, and sharing.
🧸 Making up their own games encourages imagination and independence.

To a child, it may feel like just another fun day.

But through play, they are learning, growing, exploring, and becoming a little more confident every day. ✨
