In Brene Brown’s book Daring Greatly, she talks about how we spend our lives waiting until we are perfect or even bulletproof before we walk into the arena. We can wait for so long that we ultimately sacrifice potential opportunities, waste our precious time, turn our backs on our gifts and deny the world the unique contributions that only we can make.
Here is the thing about having confidence - you have to be both vulnerable and brave. It is only when we are truly open we can embrace opportunities without this idea of needing to be perfect.

If you are ready to raise your confidence here are some tips:
Mindset: How do you think about yourself?
You must believe that you are worthy and capable to have what you desire. Make an inventory of all your past successes, this could be writing in a journal or a mailbox folder. Document every success you have had, whether it is in your personal life or career, and make a point of looking at it regularly. This also helps just before an important meeting or presentation.
Visualise the type of person you want to become. Want the confidence to go for that promotion? Think about how you would act, feel and look once you get it. Be in the moment and engage all your five senses.

Above are just a few examples of how to raise your confidence but on Thursday 27th I will be hosting a workshop where I will be exploring even more tips and tricks to help you to raise your confidence. You have the choice to spend your life watching from the sidelines at people going for the opportunities you want, or you could gain the skills to have the confidence to step into the arena and live the life you have always dreamed of.
