🏅 Barger Caps Career with State Medal 🏅

Congratulations to Palmyra senior Jaxton Barger, who closed out his high school career by earning his first State medal Friday evening at the 2026 PIAA State Track & Field Championships!

Competing in the AAA boys Pole Vault at Shippensburg, Barger cleared 14'3" to finish 7th in the State.

The medal puts a fitting final stamp on a tremendous career for the Cougars standout, who also won back-to-back District 3 Championships in the pole vault.

Good luck to Braxtin Risser who will be playing in tonight’s Tri County All Star Game at Manheim Central at 7pm! He will be representing Palmyra as a part of the Berks/Lebanon squad as they take on Lancaster. Jake Schelhorn was also selected but is unable to play. We are proud of both of our guys selection to represent our program, and we are excited to watch Braxtin play in one last high school football game! 🐾
