We offer a range of classes including Alaska Concealed Carry. For the better part of three decades the instructors at Archangel Fi****ms training have been skiing, shooting, climbing, snowmachining and harvesting food in Archangel Valley, a small piece of Heaven in the Talkeetna Mountains. As lifelong Alaskans we know and relish the freedom and strength that comes from traveling through these high
places. The price of freedom is diligence, and the truth is that our mortality is more fragile than we believe. As no savvy Alaskan would wander into bear country unarmed, or into avalanche terrain without a beacon, we believe that man is a far more unpredictable creature than the raging grizzly or the freak avalanche. To be unprepared for the inevitability of conflict is unacceptable. Most of our neighbors and fellow citizens are really good people. It would be unconscionable to buckle your child in its carseat only some of the time. We merely believe due diligence be observed on a few additional points in order to ensure long life and reasonable health. Being armed isn’t about fear or paranoia. We don’t buckle up then spend the whole drive white knuckled and petrified of a triple rollover. Once we as citizens are armed, we are merely that much safer and more able to deal with an emergency should it arise. Through strength there is safety and through safety there is peace. It is up to the individual to create this peace in our communities. An armed citizen is a force of peace and goodness to be reckoned with. Those who choose violence and hatred will now have to consider this: If those who choose goodness can wield the sword with greater skill and speed than those who do evil, now it is the criminal who must live in fear.
