Fellow classmates, I am saddened to learn the passing of our dear classmate, Sandra (Noga) Nichols. Please see below.
Sandra Nichols - Obituary View Sandra Nichols's obituary, send flowers and sign the guestbook.
Wishing those of you who have or will be celebrating a 70th, Happy Birthday with lots of good health and happiness!
The Committee has not given up the idea of planning a celebration however, we’re just slower with the planning stages right now. Depending if we can get our act together, an informal gathering may or may not happen in the fall.
Lastly, There are several classmates who will celebrate a 50th Wedding Anniversary this year.... Gloria (Wilk) Byrnes ... married to Billy (April). Cheryl (Regan) Sawicki and Steve Sawicki (May) and Chris (Ellithorpe) Smith .... married to Wayne (July).
If you know of anyone else celebrating something special, please let us know. Also, feel free to post news to our page.

Fellow Classmates,
Following our reunion, the class had funds remaining from our 25th, as well as from donations made to our 50th. Since it’s unlikely we will plan a 75th, the Committee decided to donate toward a Chromebook project at the high school. The school is trying to put a computer in every student’s class day. Attached, please find a thank you from PHS to our class.
We also look forward to planning an informal celebration of 70 years of life. We’ll be posting more in January 2020.
Fellow Classmates ... As you may or may not know, Palmer High School experienced a devastating fire more than a week ago which has closed the school until approximately March 25th.
The Class of 68, has remaining funds totaling $500 from donations received toward the 50th reunion, as well as funds from previous reunions. At the reunion closeout meeting, we considered giving a scholarship. However, due to circumstances regarding potential damage at the school, the Reunion Committee has decided to liquidate all funds and donate them to the school for a specific purpose once a full assessment of damage is completed ... the library is one area for consideration.
If you would like further information regarding the fire, you can Google stories on Mass Live. Additionally, if there is interest in making a personal contribution, I believe there are several organizations in town accepting donations and I would be glad to assist. Thank you ...
We’re still planning a 70th birthday party in 2020 ... no plans are set at this time. Hope everyone stayed healthy this winter! Enjoy Spring ....
Some sad news to share...I just found out our classmate Joe Izyk passed away on October 16. RIP Joe
