Alaska Operating Engineers Employers Training Trust

Alaska Operating Engineers Employers Training Trust The Alaska Operating Engineers Apprenticeship is the result of Labor and Management's commitment to the trade of Operating Engineers. A 16,000 sq. ft.

The Alaska Operating Engineers Employers Training Center is located at 5400 N. Cunningham Road, mile 3.5 Palmer Fishhook Road and occupies 163 acres in the Matanuska-Susitna Valley in Palmer, Alaska. We are recognized as one of the top training facilities in the state of Alaska. The Alaska Operating Engineers/Employers Training Trust prepares Alaskan workers with the skills necessary to meet the e

ver-changing needs of the construction and related industries. The AOEETT is committed to providing the highest quality training opportunities to all our members and apprentices. This training is an excellent resource to learn new skills, upgrade on existing skills, and remain current on required certifications. The largest obstacle for training in Alaska is the winter season, because of the frozen ground. (80’ x 200’) indoor training arena was designed with the specific intent of training on machines and grade checking from November to April where previously, heavy equipment training was nearly halted due to frozen ground. This is the only indoor training arena in the state of Alaska and we are proud to be able to provide our members with this benefit.
