Singing in Yup’ik has been an unforgettable experience for our team. Learning a new language and exploring its unique sounds has been both challenging and inspiring. And our teachers? Our incredible Yup’ik choir, 🥰amazing kids who captured our hearts from the very first song.🥰

Help Bring Hope and Music to Alaska’s Storm-Displaced Children

Dozens of children from Western Alaska lost their homes during the recent storm. They’re now in Anchorage, away from everything familiar.

IVC is stepping in to help them heal through music.
For 6+ months, our teachers will volunteer 3+ hours daily to teach choir, orchestra, and creative music sessions that bring back joy, confidence, and community.

Welcome to Anchorage, the largest indigenous village in Alaska, with over 200,000 residents! This vibrant city is home to many Alaska Natives, particularly from the Yupik tribe.
We are thrilled to announce that Indigenous Values in Crescendo (IVC) is inaugurating its program here in Anchorage. This marks a significant milestone as we extend our mission to empower and uplift indigenous youth through music and cultural education.
