Training on such a narrow surface requires incredible balance, focus, body awareness, and confidence.

It teaches body awareness. It builds shoulder strength and stability, challenges balance, and most importantly, teaches patience.

Because finding that perfect handstand doesn’t happen overnight. It takes practice, persistence, and learning to embrace lots of little wins along the way. 💪✨

Did you know, chalk wasn’t just created to drive gymnast parents crazy when the passengers seat of their car has a consistent coat of fine white dust on it?

Chalk absorbs moisture from gymnasts hands which helps athletes maintain a better grip on the bars. It’s a simple tool that helps improve control and safety.⁠

Fall Classes start next week! 🤸 If you’re new to gymnastics.... Here’s a quick tip for getting ready for that first gymnastics class:⁠

Choose comfortable athletic clothing that’s easy to move in. Leotards or leggings with an athletic shirt work great for girls, while shorts or sweatpants with a t-shirt are perfect for boys.⁠
⁠
A few things to skip: buttons, belts, zippers, and jewelry that could get in the way. And if your child has longer hair, make sure it’s pulled back securely.⁠
⁠
Most importantly? Come ready to move, learn, and have fun!
